--------------------- I have used about 3 hosts in the past year. (All free) The first one I tried was Byethost. I did not like it because it was slow, files kept getting corrupted and I often had my sites redirecting to "mybookface.net" for some unknown reason. The only good thing was the high space and bandwidth. (but mysql was so small) Then I moved to 000webhost. It was a little faster than byethost, had less space and bandwith but the biggest issue is they had a link to hosting24.com on the footer inside <noscript> tags so you could not see it but search engines could. (I found it using lynx when my computer was being too slow for any form of client side scripting). After that, I moved to Paradox Servers (paradoxservers.net) which I still use. More disk space but less bandwidth than 000webhost. Very fast server compared to any other host I use in the past. __________________

I've not actually used freehosting for over about a year, as I have a small reseller account with namecheap. Now namecheap  Their resellers are not the cheapest, but i've had no downtime, and its been very stable, I cannot fault them, i've run some busy sites on the account without problems or warnings, whereas other hosts turned the sites away after a few days saying they were using too much RAM/CPU.
So far, namecheap are great, i've had a reseller with them for well over 4 months now. __________________
